If you like ghost towns, Rhyolite is a must see. Walk among the ruins of what was once a very thriving desert town near the eastern edge of Death Valley National Park. The Tom Kelly Bottle House, built with thousands of glass bottles is worth the drive. There's also a strange art installation on the edge of town.
