Rila Monastery, Bulgaria

This Monastery is located in the ancient forests of Rila Mountain at the confluence of the Droushlyavitsa and Rila Rivers in a naturally fortified area. Founded in the 10tj century by Reverend Ioan Rilsli (most respected Bulgarian Saint) it is a treasure house and preserver of Orthodox faith, culture, and Bulgarian identity.
